Having started off my selling and buying process with a disappointing traditional solicitor practice, I wanted to try something more 21st Century. I found Aconveyancing by chance and, although not sure, thought I'd give them a try.
As soon as I had a conversation with one of the team, I felt
I was probably making the right choice, so signed up with them.
I was introduced to their portal and initially found it a little complex, having one account for my sale and one for my purchase. However, I quickly understood it and could see the huge advantages that it would bring in saving significant time and effort, utilising digital document distribution and signing. This was very important in my case, as my 3 grown up children were involved in the sale but not the purchase.
We only really started moving on the legal work in mid-January and, remarkably, both completions were executed before the end of March. Based on my experiences in 13 previous home moves, I was hoping for April or May, so I was amazed and delighted.
It can sometimes be difficult to get hold of solicitors in small firms but with Aconveyancing, even if you can't get to your actual solicitor, everyone can access the electronic file and give you the current status and/or get a message out for a call back.
