As first time landlords, we have purchased three properties that require full agent letting services for. As a first time, we needed an agent who could both talk us through the options, advise and explain certain aspects of the process, assist with sourcing trades for relevant certifications required (gas and electric), market the property, arrange multiple viewings, provide personal statements and financial information to allow us to short list potential tenants and basically help us with the whole process, while answering the questions that we had along the way. The team made this seamless, less scary as first time landlords and generally made the process as easy as possible. Arranging all trades on our behalf was a massive help and saved so much time and hassle. Also, they operate a number of app portals for us to track all information, including rental statements which are a great resource. The Street and Payprop apps mean at all times we have information in real time. As we both work full time I would say that Taylor & Co have taken the burden out of the whole process. Harriet Eccles and Kate Carr have been a great team and a joy to work with.
